Murrieta is a beautiful inland city in southwestern Riverside County. It’s one the of the fastest growing cities in the state with a population of just over 103,000 in the 2010 U.S. Census
Murrieta has a warm, dry, sub-tropical climate with an average of 260+ sunshine days per year, which is getting noticed and attracting people and new development.

Explore all that Murrieta has to offer. There’s plenty of restaurants, family entertainment, city parks, trails, and thousands of acres of natural habitat to explore. It’s a great area for golf, youth sports, picnicking, hiking, and more.
Get away from it all and take walk through the beautiful landscapes of the Santa Rosa Ecological Preserve.
Take Clinton Keith Rd west up the mountain for a nice drive, to search the La Cresta residential area for horse and acreage properties, or head on a little further to find the Ecological Preserve, where you can picnic, take a walk, hike, bike, horseback ride, explore the old adobes, or just sit and enjoy being in nature. The Preserve offers field trips, group events, and even outdoor concerts there during the summer.
