Solar Power on Every New CA Home!

California became the first state in the U.S.A. to require solar energy systems be installed on all new home construction.

The state Building Standards Commission and the California Energy Commission voted to add the solar requirement to the state building code.

The new code requires a solar power system be installed on every new home that’s built and sold in California beginning in 2020.
