About El Cajon CA

The area was pasture land and cattle ranches during Spanish rule in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This gave way to citrus orchards in the late nineteenth century.
Top employers in the area are the Cajon Valley School District and Grossmont Union High School District, followed by aerospace, healthcare, engineering, and large retailers.
