Santee CA is home to Jamar Power System’s San Diego office and warehouse. We’ve been in our current location at 9830 Prospect Ave. since 2006. Before that we were located on Fairmont Ave in San Diego.
Many of our nearly 50 employees live right here in Santee. We’re proud to be a local employer and giving back to the Santee community.

Santee is a beautiful suburb of San Diego just NE of downtown. Our area has plenty of parks, trails, and over 1,000 acres of natural habitat. It’s a wonderful area for fishing, camping, picnicking, hiking trails, and just nature watching.
Santee is conveniently just 18 miles from the Pacific Ocean. State Route 52 provides easy access to La Jolla, Old Town, Mission Bay, and downtown San Diego.

The area was originally home to the Kumeyaay people. Evidence shows they had lived in the area for at least 12,000 years. These native peoples had two related groups that were separated by what is today the San Diego River. For more information click here.
Today the population in Santee is diversifying with growing Hispanic and Asian communities. Median age is around 38 years old. Around 20 percent of the population is in retirement.
Santee’s median household income of around $77k is well above the $55k national average and so too is its percentages of high school and college graduates.
The top employers in the city are in the sectors of healthcare, retail, education, manufacturing, and professional services.
Santee Town Center is also the terminal station on the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System’s Green Line which connects East County to Old Town and Downtown San Diego.
